Hartley RacingHartley Racing has been drag racing for over 40 years. Allen Hartley, team owner, is a veteran driver and has been drag racing since his first visit to the drag strip in Scribner, Nebraska. He has raced cars ranging from a 1967 Camero to twin engine dragsters. His energy and passion for racing infiltrated his family and they joined him at tracks around the country for weekend outings.
The Hartley's wanted more. In 2000, Hartley Racing made it’s debut in the premier Top Fuel Eliminator class with Allen's son, Joe Hartley, at the wheel. Allen continues as owner and crew chief. Joe drives the Top Fuel Dragster, sanctioned under the National Hot Rod Association, in races around the country. His car accelerates at about 4.5 to 5 g forces and generates about 8000 horsepower running on nitro-methane. The cars cover a quarter of a mile in 4.4 seconds at a speed of 330 mph. His performance has been stellar with a top finish in Houston, Texas and a top poll in Topeka, Kansas.
The Hartley Racing Team have a true commitment to the sport and add great excitement to the Top Fuel competition. Stop by the Hartley Racing pit to see these professionals in action!
